Lilia Luna is a bilingual (Spanish-English) psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through healing, growth, and transformation. Her integrative approach draws from client-centered therapy, mindfulness practices, and somatic (body-oriented) techniques. Lilia is committed to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported in their journey toward greater emotional well-being.
Lilia specializes in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and difficulties in setting boundaries. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and incorporates a trauma-informed lens in all aspects of her work. Lilia has training in Dance and Movement Therapy from the Gestalt Institute of Guadalajara and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as part of her therapeutic toolkit.
As a certified yoga instructor and long-time practitioner, Lilia also integrates mindfulness and somatic awareness techniques to help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, and reconnect with their bodies.
She holds a master’s degree in psychotherapy from ITESO, Jesuit University of Guadalajara, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Matatipac in Mexico. Her professional experience spans non-profit organizations, private practice, school counseling, community mental health, and addiction treatment. Having immigrated to the U.S. herself, Lilia brings a deep personal understanding of the emotional complexities that come with cultural transitions, identity development, and adjustment.
Lilia works with clients of all ages but is especially passionate about helping women build self-trust, strengthen their inner voice, and move through life with clarity and confidence.
