REVIEW USMeet Hana Khan LSW
Hana Khan is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who works with children, adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. She has a strong interest in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, especially within South Asian communities, and integrates cultural identity into the healing process. Hana also supports individuals through significant life transitions, identity exploration, and relational challenges.
Hana takes an integrative, collaborative approach, combining psychodynamic therapy with evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also incorporates a mind body approach, exploring the connection between emotional experiences, the body, and overall well being. Her work is rooted in curiosity, care, and a deep respect for each client’s unique story. She helps clients notice patterns that may have once been protective but now feel limiting, and supports them in creating new pathways toward self-understanding and growth.
Hana completed her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago and has worked in inpatient therapy settings, group practices, and community organizations. She brings a compassionate and nonjudgmental presence to her clinical work, creating space for thoughtful conversations that support insight, reflection, and meaningful change.
